Hey everyone! Of course as soon as I set out to obey the Lord in blogging regularly, so many things happen and I get weary. (Just being honest). I’d like to share about my recent transition with those who read this. It’s been painful,  yet so very exciting.

The Painful Parts…

These last several weeks have been leading up to a major transition that took place in my life less than two weeks ago. I recently moved to Mesquite and have been blessed with the opportunity to go to school full time as I pursue my Bachelor’s in Teaching. Sounds awesome, right? It sure is. However, as I’ve stepped into this new season.. there’s been some pain. Here comes the raw part of this blog post. As I have entered into this new season, I’ve had to fully release someone in my life to the Lord that I care about very much. I have repented to the Lord for not trusting Him enough to do what only He can do with and through this person. Releasing them to the Lord is very freeing, its just painful at the same time. There’s been a few other painful losses as well – including one of my dogs passing away the day before I moved.

However, with that being said… I want to share this.

Even though certain events leading up to my move didn’t go as planned and there has been pain… The Lord has been so very faithful in this transition. Here are some things He has shared with me (& I believe He wants others to know in their transition):

  1. The new season is better than the last.
  2. He is with me (& you) every step of the way.
  3. Be thankful for this long-awaited transition.
  4. Isaiah 41:10 NLT – Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I Am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
  5. All His promises will be fulfilled. He cannot lie.

This is a time of transition for many. There’s been a lot of shifting and rearranging. I want to encourage anyone experiencing transition to just cling to the Lord and trust in Him. He knows where you are going and He has all the details covered. If He shows ya that there is something in your heart to deal with, just do it. It’s for your benefit anyways. The Lord is preparing you for more. He always has more.

Isaiah 43:19 NLT – For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.
